Forefront Arts Drama Camps We are excited to announce our partnership with Forefront Arts! They are providing 3 great opportunities for your kids to go to a fun summer camp this summer. Forefront Arts drama camps feature acting, improv, creative play, singing, dancing, designing, and more. Our camp instructors are professional actors and every camp week culminates in a public performance.We are offering TWO productions this summer in Cumming AND Johns Creek: “How I Became a Pirate” and “Yellow Brick Road”! Our smallest performers (preschool-rising kindergarten) can take part in an exciting half-day Creative Dramatics camp. Each day we’ll do warm-ups, play theatre games, make up stories, sing and dance to music, create costumes and props for the show, and practice for our big performance on Friday! Performance Campers (rising 1st grade – age 14) will experience the entire production rehearsal process: auditions to find the perfect role for each student, blocking rehearsals, character development, memorizing lines, music and dance rehearsals, and finally, performing the show for an audience of family and friends! In addition to rehearsing the show campers will play fun theatre games, learn warm-ups, and do crafts. The camp will expose students to many aspects of live theatre including movement, music, blocking, theatrical makeup, and set and costume design. All levels of experience are welcome.
