Truth in the Tinsel Discount Code 2014 – a Christmas Countdown for Kids This will be our 4th year doing Truth in the Tinsel in our house.   I admit I may not make it all 24 days, but it’s always something we start and work through as many days as possible! It’s been two years now since I first shared about a very special e-book that had just been released – Truth in the Tinsel.  It was written & developed by one of my very best girlfriends & life long friends, Amanda.  Someone that I grew up with as a child and still have the pleasure of hanging out with and being friends with today! It’s so easy to get tied up in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season and forget to stop and spend time teaching our children about the event that actually started the Season so many years ago – the birth of Jesus! Rise & Drive – Community Collection & Festival

Rise & Drive Community Collection & Festival Stepping Stone Montessori School (both campuses) is organizing a RISE & DRIVE – COMMUNITY COLLECTION AND FESTIVAL during the week of November 10th t​o ​​raise funds and collect food, clothes, toys and books to help local charities and organizations. On Saturday Nov 15th, Stepping Stone will host a Community Festival at both their local campuses, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This event is open to the entire community​ and everyone is welcome​. There will be plenty of children’s activities (Free), Food Vendors, Gift Baskets for sale, and more. Stepping Stone will be supporting & raising funds and resources for CURE Childhood Cancer and Family Haven. About the Fundraising Recipients: CURE Childhood Cancer believes that childhood cancer can be cured in our lifetime. CURE is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding cutting-edge research and through supporting patients and their families.  www.curechildhoodcancer.org Family Haven is a wonderful assistance program that offers refuge to women and children who have been victim to domestic violence. Family Haven is an advocate for victims and families of domestic violence providing shelter, programs and community education to end the cycle of violence.
